Cristal and I plan to conduct interviews this upcoming week. Finding migrant workers who are willing to be interviewed has been difficult considering the current political climate in the US. During this time, we are researching laws about agriculture in the US so we can provide that information on our website.

Cristal y yo planeamos realizar entrevistas esta próxima semana. Encontrar trabajadores migrantes que estén dispuestos a ser entrevistados ha sido difícil teniendo en cuenta el clima político actual en los Estados Unidos. Durante este tiempo, estamos investigando las leyes sobre la agricultura en los Estados Unidos para que podamos proporcionar esa información en nuestro sitio web.

Cristal and I have not begun our interviews yet, but will meet with our first interviewee on Tuesday, March 20. Our first interviewee will be a community partner so we may learn more about our migration group before we begin interviewing them. For the time being, Cristal and I have been editing our website so it will be ready for new content. Through editing the website, I am learning more about how to use WordPress and the different features it offers. I will also be working on refreshing my skills in Final Cut Pro, as I was trained in an older version of the software and now must learn the new design.

Cristal y yo no hemos empezado nuestras entrevistas todavía, pero se reunirá con nuestro primer entrevistado el martes, 20 de marzo. Nuestro primer entrevistado será un socio de la comunidad para que podamos aprender más sobre nuestro grupo de migración antes de empezar a entrevistarlos. Por el momento, Cristal y yo hemos estado editando nuestro sitio web para que esté listo para nuevos contenidos. A través de la edición del sitio web, estoy aprendiendo más acerca de cómo utilizar WordPress y las diferentes características que ofrece. También voy a trabajar en la actualización de mis habilidades en Final Cut Pro, ya que fue entrenado en una versión más antigua del software y ahora tengo que aprender el nuevo diseño.

Cristal and I have considered the suggestions for our project contract and have made changed accordingly. We have added more time for editing the interviews (considering they will also need to be translated to English). We have also decided to work together in editing the videos, so I will be showing Cristal how to use programs like Final Cut Pro. We have also revised our questions so they will be more open-ended to allow for the speaker to lead the interview. We are still deciding how we want to design our website. We are now on Spring Break and plan to meet to work on the website together.

Cristal y yo hemos considerado las sugerencias para nuestro contrato de proyecto y hemos hecho cambios en consecuencia. Hemos añadido más tiempo para la edición de las entrevistas (teniendo en cuenta que también tendrá que ser traducido al inglés). También hemos decidido trabajar juntos en la edición de los videos, así que voy a enseñar a Cristal cómo utilizar programas como Final Cut Pro. También hemos revisado nuestras preguntas para que sean más abiertas a fin de permitir que el orador lidere la entrevista. Todavía estamos decidiendo cómo queremos diseñar nuestro sitio web.
